Guest Lecture: Dorothy Harley Eber
Montreal writer Dorothy Harley Eber will tell the story of the Sissons/Morrow Collection. Her book, Images of Justice, provides a history of the collection through biographies of both judges and documentation of their court cases. The Power Plant. Free with admission.

Artist’s Talk: Glenn Ligon
American artist Glenn Ligon uses painting, sculpture, print, video and installation to address issues of identity and representation, race, gender and sexuality. He has an extensive exhibition history that includes solo shows at the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis (2000), the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (1996) and the Hirshhorn Museum, Washington, D.C. (1993). Ligon has also participated in important group exhibitions such as Singular Forms (Sometimes Repeated), Guggenheim Museum, New York (2004); Documenta XI, Kassel (2002); and Black Male: Representations of Masculinity in Contemporary American Art, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.
