Tania Mouraud

From 8 May – June 15, 1992, The Power Plant presented a solo exhibition for artist Tania Mouraud, curated by Louise Dompierre. Tania Mouraud’s work functions at the edges of language and form, image and sign, painting and sculpture, wall-object and installation work. These various relationships take us back to the origins of language itself and to the very source of oral and written communication. Each of Mouraud’s works involves a process of recovery that begins with form and ends in meaning.

This 40-page softcover catalogue features images of Mouraud’s work, an essay by curator Louise Dompierre and an insightful interview between Mouraud and fellow artist Ian Wallace.
