The Power Plant - Contemporary Art Gallery - Harbourfront centre
Taking cues from Julia Dault’s rule-based approach to creative practice, this workshop for children ages 8-12 will focus on experimentation and play with painting.
Drawing inspiration from Pedro Cabrita Reis’ use of found and manufactured objects, participants will learn sculptural building techniques to create their own abstract sculptural artworks.
Inspired by Shelagh Keeley’s commissioned work for The Power Plant, children ages 8-12 will learn about various drawing processes and the relationship between mark-making, movement and performance.
