Sunday Scene

Speakers from the world of art and beyond offer their responses to the current exhibitions. Whether focusing on a single work/artist or on multiple exhibitions, guest presenters draw provocative connections between our programs and broader cultural and intellectual debates.

Power Kids

Power Kids is a series of free art-making workshops for children ages 7–12, led by skilled and dynamic artist-educators. Each workshop is inspired by a different idea or concept featured in our current exhibitions.

In Conversation

Current exhibiting artists engage in a series of conversations with key curators and discuss art, history, past, present, and future, including transformations to artists’ practices and to institutional and curatorial models.

Master Class

The Power Plant invites Artist Members to participate in our special Master Class events with artists! Master Class is a special event organized uniquely for The Power Plant's Artist Members. In these sessions, participants get to meet an invited guest artist, demonstrate their work and get to receive constructive feedback.
