Curator Talk: Ami Barak

Ami Barak is an independent curator and critic based in Paris and curator of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche’s 2013 Exhibition A, "Sur Les Chapeaux de Roue – To Get Off to a Flying Start." In this bilingual lecture, Barak describes Nuit Blanche as the city turned into a one-night, open-air museum, and reflects upon the process of taking manufactured objects back to the streets and reconciling the public with the ubiquitous status of the artwork.
