Vancouver-based artist Ron Terada uses painting to create more space for contemplation, which is often lacking in our day-to-day use of technology and digital platforms. His epic body of work, TL;DR, tells a story of 2020 through a cycle of 325 painted news headlines generated from The Verge. By painting the headlines, Terada encourages audiences to detach from screens and develop a new perspective on today's overwhelming and catastrophic news.
