Barbara Fischer is the Executive Director/Chief Curator of the Justina M. Barnicke Gallery and the University of Toronto Art Centre. Fischer curated the Power Plant exhibition Mark Lewis: Invention. This lecture focuses on Mark Lewis’ film works that are set in Toronto, examined in the context of his interests in the intermixing of cinematic tropes, architecture, urban settings, time, and duration.
