You are invited to an in-depth artist talk with Christina Leslie, who will discuss her photographic practice and reflect on the themes, influences, and processes that shape her work. Leslie’s practice delves into questions of Caribbean identity, migration, and visual storytelling, exploring how personal and collective histories intersect through photography.

This conversation takes place in conjunction with her presentation on The Power Plant’s South Facade Billboard, part of an ongoing series of photographic works that respond to the gallery’s unique waterfront setting. For this edition, The Power Plant has partnered with ERA Architects as part of Art=Waterfront, an initiative that celebrates the waterfront as a vital space for art and cultural engagement.

Join us for this special event as Christina Leslie shares insights into her creative process, the making of Pinhole Parishes, and the significance of her work within the broader context of Caribbean diasporic identity and contemporary photographic practice.
