Aude Moreau, artiste basé à Montréal et Louise Déry, commissaire, discuteront de La nuit politique, la première exposition majeure individuelle de l’artiste. Elles présenteront une semble d’œuvres développées par l’artiste au cours des 7 dernières années sur les panoramas nocturnes de villes telles que New York, Los Angeles, Montréal et Toronto.

Cette conférence sera présentée en français.

Aude Moreau, née en France, vit à Montréal. Détentrice d’une maîtrise en arts visuels et médiatiques de l’UQAM, elle a été récipiendaire de la Bourse Claudine et Stephen Bronfman en art contemporain (2011), ainsi que du Prix Powerhouse de La Centrale (2011). Son œuvre a été exposé internationalement, notamment en France, au Luxembourg et aux Etats-Unis.

Louise Déry vit à Montréal où elle dirige la Galerie de l’UQAM. Détentrice d’un doctorat en histoire de l’art, lauréate de plusieurs prix d’excellence (Prix Hnatyshyn (2007), Prix du gouverneur général du Canada (2014), etc.), elle a été commissaire du Canada à la Biennale de Venise en 2007 et a réalisé une centaine d’expositions et catalogues en art contemporain.


Montreal-based artist Aude Moreau and Curator Louise Déry will speak in conversation about the artist’s first major solo exhibition The Political Nightfall. Together Moreau and Déry will present and discuss the artist’s body of work that was developed over the last seven years and focuses on night-time panoramas of cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Montreal and Toronto.

Aude Moreau , was born in France and lives in Montreal . She holds an MA in Visual and Media Arts at UQAM , she was a recipient of the Claudine and Stephen Bronfman Fellowship in Contemporary Art (2011) and the Prix La Centrale Powerhouse (2011). Her work has been exhibited internationally, particularly in France, Luxembourg and the United States .

Louise Déry lives in Montreal where she runs the Galerie de l'UQAM. She holds a doctorate in art history, won several awards for excellence Hnatyshyn Award (2007), the Governor General's Award (2014) , etc , she was Commissioner of Canada at the Biennale of Venice in 2007 and carried out a hundred exhibitions and catalogs in contemporary art.
