Journeying from the gallery to Toronto Island, Beth Stuart’s Bathing Machine is the centerpiece of this performance that animates the Victorian-era bathing custom for contemporary audiences. All are invited to observe the procession of Bathing Machine as it traverses from the Hanlan's Point ferry dock to the beach behind Artscape Gibraltar Point, where Stuart and Maya Ben-David will activate the Bathing Machine through a series of performances.

Following the performance, Artscape Gibraltar Point is proud to present Rogue Vibes A Celebration of Community, Culture and Collaboration. Building on the success of last years “Island Vibes” celebration. Artscape Gibraltar Point has partnered with Rogue Wave Outdoor Sculpture and Installation Exhibition and The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery to present a full afternoon and evening bringing contemporary art, performance, music and naturally, great times, to celebrate the creative spirit and inspirational nature of the Toronto Islands.
