In its July 2012 issue, Modern Painters magazine included Bill on its annual list of the "50 Most Interesting Collectors Under 50 Worldwide". Last fall, he was also profiled along with five other Canadian collectors in the September issue of the Globe & Mail's Report on Business magazine. Bill has spoken about building an art collection "when you're not a Rockefeller" on panels at the AGO, the MoCCA, Art Toronto and other venues. He is also an arts writer who has been published frequently in ARTnews, Canadian Art, Border Crossings, Modern Painters and other magazines, and he is the editor of Magenta, an online visual arts publication produced by the Magenta Foundation.
