Artist Torkwase Dyson will deliver a lecture as part of the 2019 Joan & Martin Goldfarb Summer Institute in Visual Arts "Crossing the Line."
Focused on contemporary case studies, "Crossing the Line" explores how and why drawing—a medium long associated with both the activity of ideation and the manual act of creation—continues to play a central role for process-based and conceptually rigorous practices, allowing for an opening up of established understandings of aesthetic production.
