Kristina Lee Podesva is an artist, writer, and editor at Fillip. Her artwork and texts have appeared in exhibitions, screenings, projects, and publications in Canada, the United States, and Europe including Artspeak (Vancouver), Darling Foundry (Montreal), Museum of Contemporary Art (Denver), the Tate (London), and Dorsky Gallery (Long Island City, NY), among other venues. Her writing has been published in Fillip and Bidoun, as well as in books and catalogues such as Turn Off the Sun, Waking Up from the Nightmare of Participation, Vector: Critical Research in Context, Recipes for an Encounter, Judgment and Contemporary Art Criticism, and Komma (after Dalton Trumbo’s Johnny Got His Gun). She is also co-editor of Institutions by Artists: Volume 1, Tradition Versus Modernity, and 100% Vancouver. Her work is featured in the exhibition Postscript: Writing After Conceptual Art.
