LEGO Art: Mask-Making with Ekow Nimako

Mon Jan 12 2015

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

St. Alban's Boys and Girls Club of Weston-Mount Dennis

Power Youth Artist-in-Residence Ekow Nimako has been selected by the youth of Weston-Mount Dennis, Humber Clubhouse to teach them the basics of LEGO® art. Together they will learn how to build the faces of their future legacies. Exploring the theme of afro futurism in art, youth also have an opportunity to develop the stories and profiles of their future prodigies through collage, drawing, and writing. Building Beyond: Legacy 3015 will become an exhibition event at the Harbourfront Centre on 4 May, 2015.
