The Power Plant

Marieme S. Lo is Associate Professor in Women and Gender Studies and the Director of African Studies at the University of Toronto. She works on intersecting research fields entwined in critical, alternative and creative epistemologies, and social justice praxis. Prof. Lo is passionate about African art and design, an avid collector and amateur photographer. Prof. Lo will discuss Omar Ba’s Same Dream.
