Sarah Morris (born 1967) lives and works in New York and London. She has had solo exhibitions at White Cube, London (1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008), Whitechapel Gallery, London (2007), Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam (2006), The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Connecticut (2005) and Hirschhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington, D.C. (2002). Her achievements have been recognized with the Philip Morris Award from the American Academy (1999 – 2000) and the Joan Mitchell Painting Award (2001 – 02).

Morris will speak about her work, which includes painting, site-specific installations and film. She will pay particular attention to her acclaimed feature-length film Beijing (2008).
