Sneaker Painting with Carlos Delgado

Mon Jan 11 2016

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

St. Alban's Boys and Girls Club of Weston-Mount Dennis

Working with Power Youth from the Boys and Girls Club of Weston-Mount Dennis, Power Youth Artist-in-Residence Carlos Delgado teaches youth the basics of painting and installation with his project In Our Shoes. Through this sneaker painting and art installation workshop, youth will explore the urban expression of sneaker culture and street art. Youth will have an opportunity to tell both personal and community stories through designing various pairs of sneakers and turning everyday objects into a personal canvas for self-expression.
