On May 9, join us for {spirit forged}: a performance by artist and educator SA Smythe, inspired by Amartey Golding's exhibition In the comfort of embers! This performance with sound, poetry, and movement will respond to Golding's works presented at The Power Plant.

Their art practice convenes poetry, soundscape composition, performance, light sculptures, and archival ephemera to choreograph cartographies of black and trans (un)belonging.
