The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery
The Power Plant invites kids ages 7-12 to the Power Kids: Up up and Away workshop, inspired by Shona Illingworth's exhibit Topologies of Air. A guided tour and activity led by The Power Plant's Power Kids & Outreach Coordinator by Nilou Salimi will explain how aerospace technologies have changed our skies. In this workshop, kids will engineer their own flying objects out of recycled materials.
The safety of our staff and visitors are of utmost importance. In response to the Ontario Government’s requirements, The Power Plant has implemented COVID-19 protocols.When entering the gallery, parents or guardians will be required to present proof of full vaccination with a valid QR code, along with a piece of official government ID. Everyone will be required to wear medical-grade masks indoors.
