The Power Plant

Drawing inspiration from Aude Moreau’s exhibition The Political Nightfall, this workshop will explore how cities become transformed at night. Starting with a discussion about how a city is structured, participants will then brainstorm and sketch out what elements will be included in their own imaginative city after dark. Using sculpture techniques and materials such as cardboard, neon paint and black lighting, participants will build their own miniature city. At the end of the workshop we will place all of the individual cities together to create a large scale installation and photo opportunity, after which each participant will take their creations home.
