Liza Mauer of Art en Valise and Rui Amaral, Director and Curator at Scrap Metal will lead a tour of Autocontusion, Mexican artist Abraham Cruzvillegas' first solo exhibition in Canada.
Art en Valise and Scrap Metal are delighted to partner on presenting a new exhibition of work by Mexican artist Abraham Cruzvillegas—his first solo exhibition in Canada. Titled Autocontusion, the site-specific composition spans a diverse range of mundane objects sourced in the gallery’s surrounding area. By way of assembling and suspending these physical findings with reclaimed wood and vegetation, Cruzvillegas devises an intimate surrealist universe that reflects the fragility of our times.
