The Power Plant

Game/Play with Nadijah Robinson

Mon Sep 15 2014

2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

St. Alban's Boys and Girls Club of Weston-Mount Dennis

Power Youth has appointed its very first Power Youth Artist-in-Residence, Nadijah Robinson, who has developed a project based on learning from our pilot program. Game/Play builds on youth interest in sports and gaming technologies, enhancing for youth the presence of art in daily life. Concepts include the ‘game’ of life, skills, strategy, chance, competition and collaboration, performance, facing obstacles, challenges, winners and losers. Guided by an ethic of “playfulness,” participants will collaborate on a visual response that is meaningful to their lives and relevant to their community.
