3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
A pivotal figure in the history of Conceptual art, Lawrence Weiner speaks about his pioneering practice. Weiner’s most significant exhibition in Toronto to date, THE OTHER SIDE OF A CUL-DE-SAC at The Power Plant is comprised of five text-based works that function here as fragments of a whole. In 2007, Weiner was honoured with his first major American retrospective, AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE, by the Whitney Museum of American Art in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. He lives in New York and Amsterdam.
