The Power Plant

Motivated by artist Kerry Tribe’s interest in memory and storytelling, as seen in her exhibition Speak, Memory, this 3-5 PM workshop will give participants the chance to make their own creative map based on short personal narratives. Working from memory and guided by the instructor, participants will write about a personally significant event. Inspired by this short text, they will then learn map-making techniques to craft their own autobiographical map using various artistic materials. Participants can bring home their memory map at the end of the workshop.

Parents are expected to join their children in all activities. Led by artist-educator and Animateur at The Power Plant, Anna Bouzina.

For children ages 8 – 12 and their younger siblings and adult companions. Call 416.973.4949 to reserve a spot.
