Tours and workshops are led by artist-educator Anna Bouzina and assisted by Adrienne Costantino, TD Curator of Education and Outreach Fellow.
For children ages 8–12 and their younger siblings and adult companions.
The Power Plant
Drawing inspiration from Carlos Amorales’ exhibition Black Cloud, participants will learn the art of paper cutting as well as sculptural building techniques to construct large mobiles of swarming insects out of paper. Participants will be encouraged to collaborate by trading insects and displaying their mobiles together in a coordinated hanging installation. At the end of the workshop, kids will take their creations home.
