[Howie Tsui](~/Exhibitions/2020/Fall-2020/From-swelling-shadows,-we-draw-our-bows.aspx) draws inspiration from _mou hap_, a popular martial arts genre that emerged in China during the mid-20th century. The characters and narratives emphasize courage, honour, courtesy, justice, and a readiness to help the weak. In this art-making activity, we will use watercolour paint and ink to create a comic book cover to illustrate a hero based on people in our lives—or from our imagination!
