The Power Plant
Pow! Zing! Zap! Maria Loboda uses one onomatopoeia, a sound matching sense, in the exhibition Some weep, some blow flutes. Inspired by the exhibition’s exploration of the expressive visual potential of words, participants will make a sound sign and use it to animate a tableau vivant in a live-action comic strip. At the end of the program, participants will take their sound signs home.
