The Power Plant

Tairone Bastien is a public art curator working between Toronto and Dubai. From 2011-17 he was based in the United Arab Emirates, where he established the Alserkal Programme at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai, and shaped the public programming strategy for art centres in Abu Dhabi. In addition to ongoing curatorial research and projects, Tairone is currently a Global Journalism Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs. Bastien will discuss Kader Attia’s exhibition _The Field of Emotio_n.
