The Power Plant

Create your own musical instrument and perform with local improv musicians! Inspired by the Do-It-Yourself aesthetic and approach to sculpture in the exhibition Nothing to Declare and Michael Snow’s longstanding work in improvised noise music, this workshop teaches kids how to create their own musical instruments from recycled and domestic materials. They will then have the opportunity to play their homemade instruments with local improv musicians in a free-form jam session. Led by artist Sarah Febbraro.
